Loading... Glorious Appearing: The End of Days#5 - Glorious Appearing by Tim Lahaye and Jerry B. Jenkins. Awesome ending to a fantastic series! However, I have to admit, I am a little glad the series is over for me. Not that I didn't enjoy it, just sometimes the writing can be a little lacking.
#6 - The Horrors of Love by Jean Du ... #125 - Oh! Christian porn! That is a perfect description for (particularly) Glorious Appearing. I have not read the book myself, but from the various descriptions/reviews I've seen (even from folks that liked the rest of the series) there was something about the somewhat gleeful way the image of J ... Are you guys anywhere near running out of flags, yet?
I've read all but the last half of the gore soaked Glorious Appearing, it makes Titus Andronicus look like a fairy-tale, and find nothing in any of the 11 1/2 that I did read that does not deserve all the opprobrium that can be heaped on ... #11 I finally got through The Glorious Appearing ...OMG it was the longest sermons I've ever read or heard or even imagined. The story line would have been better if all the 3-page verbatim biblical "quotes" were removed or shortened. ... For me, the Left Behind books fell subject to the law of diminishing returns, and I gave up on the series after Glorious Appearing ... a half of these books. The quality declined steadily after about the third book, but I was determined to press forward to The Glorious Appearing, but alas and alack, it turned out the last book made Christ look like Freddie Krueger on steroids (everyone was on steroids in this one) and the ...
