I really enjoyed Anne Fadiman's Ex Libris when I read it earlier this year and I look forward to The Spirit Catches You and You Fall Down. It's very well liked here on LT, so of course I MUST read it!

Ex Libris is one of those little gems I never would have known about except for LT. My copy is signed by several LT friends I had the good fortune to meet in person about a year and a half ago.

I read Ex Libris 2 years ago and I really enjoyed the book. I'll give him 5 stars. Some beautiful short stories about books and reading that shall appeal to every bookworm.

Oddly enough, I also bought Ex Libris and Used and Rare at the same time, and read them serially. Both are excellent books, but I really prefer the way Anne Fadiman's style of writing.

beserene, Ex Libris is one of my all-time favorite books. I dip into and refer to it often, and have given many copies as gifts. And I would read anything Anne Fadiman writes.

Yesterday, when I got home, I found a little package waiting for me. It contanied Ex libris: confessions of a common reader by Anne Fadiman. That was a lovely surprise in an otherwise not so special day!

I just bought Ex Libris and Rereadings. Now I patiently have to wait for their arrival in the mail.....

Ex Libris is one of my all-time favorites and I have bought many copies to give to other book-lovers. By the way, Anne Fadiman is a terrific writer, and I highly recommend The Spirit Catches You and You Fall Down and anything else she's written.

I read Ex Libris earlier this summer, and it was pure delight. I immediately handed it off to my bibliophile parents, and they also devoured it.

... and it's very good so far if you like historical romance and a little bit of intrigue. I've also just started reading Ex Libris: Confessions of a Common Reader by Anne Fadiman, which already looks like it's going to be a keeper.
