Nancy Wiley's artwork is fascinating. She has recreated the story of Little Red Riding Hood using painted backgrounds as a backdrop to her beautiful, intricate, handmade dolls and their props. The words are traditional ("The better to eat you with!")

If I have a criticism, it's that the Red Riding Hood doll shows little expression. The wolf is gratifyingly suave and toothy, dressed in a rich coat with--what else--a fur collar. ( )
