This is a nice book to read to younger students about friendship. It has a poem on every page about something that person likes. This shows children things to like in their life that they might take for granted. ( )

The Friendly Book starts off almost every page with "I like...". There are a number of topics with many different examples of each thing that is liked. To name a few mentioned in the book there are trains, snow, dogs and boats. The illustrations are colorful and full of details that adds humor to the book.
