Loading... Dinosaurumpus!by Tony Mitton
None. Good preschool book using rhythm, rhyming and poetry. ( )This book is written for second graders and would be great for learning about onomatopoeias. This book has the rhyme and rhythm of poetry as well as a lot of different sounds for various motions and noises. The illustrations are also bright and colorful. This is a fabulous book full of wonderful color and my pre-schooler never gets tired of reading it together. I highly recommend dancing with the dinosaurs in Dinosaurumpus! A great way to teach younger children about dinosaurs. It tells a little bit about different types of dinosaurs and it shows them dancing. A fun book with very bright colors. I would use this in a dinosaur lesson with K-2nd grade. "Shake, shake shudder near the sludgy old swamp the dinosaurs are coming get ready to romp." Colorful illustrations augment the drumbeat prose as children and adults alike cannot help but stomp their feet to the dinosaur beat as the activity reaches a cresendo. Great for read aloud or story times. no reviews | add a review
