A great wee selection of early Wyndham. A good mix includinglost aliens, vivisection, and war. Two stand out for me as Adaptation, a pondering on evolution and how much humanity will have to change to visit the stars, and The Trojan Beam, with a frankly frighteningly prescient image of what war might do to Japan.
All quite slight stories but all worth reading. ( )

There are some other stories I would pick for this - it only comes out to be 3.17 all up, so just average - with Dumb Martian probably the pick of them.
