Book description
A strangler is on the loose and fourteen-year-old Wynne Kinch fears that it may be someone very close to her. After all a murderer has to have a family and who's to say that in this case it is not her own?

Wynne's fears and suspicions lead her to destroy "evidence" she believes may be incriminating and the lies she starts to tell threaten to tear her family apart.

Another murder takes place and Wynne sinks deeper into suspicion and mistrust. Her resulting actions place her in terrible danger and precipitate a tragedy which removes her from the world of childhood and forces her to re-evaluate her past.
