Review/Critique: This book is a early fiction chapter book. The book is about Li' Bill, a young boy who lies to his parents and does not come home on time. He is told to come home early for a family dinner but never makes it home. Lil' Bill decides to play basketball with his friends and completely forgets about time. This book is fiction because it is based on a true event but not factual or historical. It is an early childhood book because it has both chapters and pictures. The font is also big, and the sentences are not extremely complex.
Comments on Use: I would use this book in my class because it is a good level for students and also because it is relatable. All students have experienced lying and being in trouble for not being honest . I think book also teaches good character traits such as honesty which I would want my students to learn
