If you don't have all of the materials to make a cherry pie, this gal will tell you how and where int he US you can get them....but you'll have to travel through almost every state along the way!

This book has an apple pie recipe at the beginning and sets you in the setting of needing to make the pie from scratch. Like needing to make the stove, etc. The girl and her dog take you on a journey across the USA trying to get all the ingridiants for doing this. There are maps that show where the stuff has been found and where the journey bagan to where it ended. (
