INCIDENTALLY: I do not rate books by "1/2". I rated this book and the previous book as a 5. The previous rating showed a "1/2", also. ( )

This book is well written and well researched with an extensive bibliography. This aspect of Nazism was common knowledge during and right after the war (homoseuxality was called 'the German vice')and was even mentioned in William Shirer's classic work on the Third Reich. Only in the recent atmosphere of political correctness has the topic become taboo because, to quote Al Gore, its an 'inconvenient truth', at least for some. ( )
