I can't believe I read the whole book. It is really a 400 page dull critique of every film role, no matter how slight, Depp has created. There is a lot of speculation about why Depp did things in certain ways, but no real insight into his personality. I picked it up on a whim at the library, and I hope there are better biographies out there for this fascinating man. ( )

I had high hopes but it's an awful read. So much so I have given up and I never give up on a book. I found it flashed backwards and forwards way to much ( )
