Your review	I suspect this novel is better than my **1/2 but I need to enjoy a book for it to merit anything higher. While I enjoyed the history lesson, I found the first 2/3rds of the contemporary strand boring. Hill makes such a good job hiding everything from his protagonist, that he hides far too much from the reader. When it finally, at long last, came to the crunch, I didn't believe that the group would behave as they did.
