This was a decent read. I'm not too find of political correctness so I expected I'd enjoy this book and side with the author more often than not. He does tell some stories of political correctness gone ridiculously wrong, but his tone in the book seems unpleasantly smug, and he just rubbed me the wrong way. Given the topic of the book though, I had to keep checking my own sensitivities. I had to remember to put my big girl pants on and just deal with the fact that me and this Smerconish fellow, whom I've never met and probably never will, just don't see eye to eye on everything. No biggie. Overall, it wasn't as compelling as I'd expected, and reading this author was too similar to reading some of the more obnoxious political pundits. ( )
