I didn't have high expectations from Dark Edge. I figured it'd be a quick gory story of mediocre quality, since I seem to have read a real string of such stories in the past year. But it's surprisingly good, more like Parasyte for its creepy, disturbing atmosphere and slightly remaining humor. The art's not great (female characters have tiny waists smaller than their head) but this first volume seems to promise future bloodbaths and weirdness. ( )
