They say never judge a book by its cover, but in this case, it’s never judge a book by its title. Oh Baby! may be an unusual title for a book (or anything else, for that matter), but as a friend of mine pointed out, it’s original. Plus, you’ll be enjoying yourself too much to bother about the title once you’ve started reading the book.

Oh Baby! is essentially a cross between The Devil Wears Prada and Gossip Girl, only with slightly less sex and more drama. The characters are unique, but in a way that you’d still be able to relate to them, even if you aren’t their age. I especially liked how the perspective keeps switching between Abby and Jamie. It makes the whole plot more interesting, and keeps readers turning the pages. The writing is witty, amusing, and full of personality, and the cover is just breathtaking. Readers would also pick up a few life lessons from the book.

I admit that I had a lot of fun reading this book. It’s funny, but also feel-good and heartwarming. Overall, a refreshing summer book to read and relax. ( )

Abby and Jamie are from an extremely small town and want nothing more then to get out and do something with their lives. They have graduated high school and now aren't really sure what they want to do.

So after some thinking, they decide to be nannies for the first semester instead of going to school, so that they can afford to go to the big city for college. They end up on opposite coasts and they learn all kinds of things.

I really liked this super-fast read. Not only did it have two great main characters, it also had laughs, fights, cute kids, drama, and romance. OH BABY! is something to just relax and read for fun. ( )

Two best friends. Two glitzy, glam cities. One rocking adventure. From the successful team behind the T*WITCHES series comes this latest sizzling read.

Before heading off for college, sixteen-year-old small town girls Abby and Jamie are headed for the big cities! Shy, innocent Abby will be a nanny for a posh New York City family, while smart, no-nonsense Jamie works her nanny gig in sunny, celeb-studded L.A. Talk about culture shock. And, between the eye-popping parties, hot boys, high-maintenance kids, and a heaping of drama, the girls can barely squeeze in time for e-mail catch-ups. But their wild summers on opposite coasts will teach Abby and Jamie things they never knew about love, lust, truth, lies, themselves . . . and each other.
