This is the second volume of works by the extremely popular Amy Brown. The reproductions are spectacularly full-page. Her fans could hardly ask for more.

A lot of her work is very reminiscent of Art Nouveau. Others are charmingly whimsical. She has a number of nude and partially nude figures. One thing that bothers me about some of her work is that some of her fairies have an air of renting out by the hour that goes way beyond being scantily dressed. I do enjoy her work, and look forward to more volumes. ( )

All of Amy Brown's artwork is just amazing. I love all of her paintings they are just beautiful. It is almost as if she has seen the fairies she paints. ( )

Amy Brown does beautiful things with watercolors. A fairy can look dark and intense or as light and fluffy as a cloud. Yet, a flaw of hers is also revealed in these books; the reliance on the same "pose" over and over again. Her fairies are often almost like mannequins, appearing in multiple paintings in the exact same clothes, changing only her costume. ( )
