Alice, the middle child, has always felt ignored. After reading Pride and Prejudice, she feels that Mary, the ignored middle child, should really be the heroine. After receiving a bad grade on her paper, Alice must reread P&P over Christmas break and discover that nmot only is the story not about Mary, but that though it is 150 years old it might help her in her life today!
