It's a grim dark future but don't worry Inquisitor Eisenhorn is here to help (or at least put you out of your misery). One of the best Warhammer 40K pulp fiction out there. Great storyline, fleshed out characters and surprisingly humorous every once and awhile. If you want to introduce someone to the Warhammer 40K universe fiction I can't think of a better book to do it with. ( )

Well realized story arc - one of the best WarHammer 40K reads I've had. ( )

This was my introduction to the Warhammer 40k books. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, which is actually compilation of three books about Eisenhorn. Dan Abnett is a master story teller. He brought to light a character and tells an amazing story that does not require any knowledge of the game of Warhammer 40k.
I recommend this to anyone that enjoys sci-fi/fantasy. ( )
