In time, though, Brenna not only found a new home at the Wade ranch in Alberta, she fell wildly in love with Nathan. And she would have accepted his marriage proposal if she hadn't learned that all he really cared about was control of the ranch.

Now a family crisis was pulling her back home. And despite Brenna's efforts to despise Nathan, the desire was still therein herself and in him -- ready to rage out of control at any moment.

Brenna had enjoyed sixteen months of self imposed exile from the overweening influence of the Wades but now Nathan had found her in his search for her sister Lesli-his brother's wife. How could she return to Canada with him when she knew that his need to of his protestations of love, a ruin of her father's life and a pointless torture of her own feelings...?
