Amazon.com Product Description (ISBN 0812577736, Mass Market Paperback)

Geoff Mann is a young, tough, athletic, handsome sociopath: a vice president on his way up to the top of the corporate ladder, hooked on the adrenaline rush of high-risk sport and high-risk business dealings.

Steve Dern is just married, also a vice president, and a contender for the newly available CEO job. He's a fine manager, but now he has a life. And when the old pirate who runs the company brings his vice presidents together at headquarters in Boston, Steve, not Geoff, is chosen.

Revenge on his rival really excites Geoff and gives him a new game to play. He goes on a wild, risky, killing rampage, and kidnaps his rival's wife. A madman will always risk more than a sane man, but Steve has to win this one, or die trying.
