April Wilson is as frustrated as she can get. For the past 18 months her orgasm has been missing in action. When even her own efforts fail to bring her to climax, she decides to ask her former childhood sweetheart for help.

Ben Hayes has built up quite a reputation in the bedroom in the years since April's mother warned him off. But what is supposed to be a seduction blossoms into much more as their old feelings reawaken and they discover anew the one who got away.

Third in a series, this was sadly low on stand-alone plot. There are some interesting and difficult family issues involved in the story, but the short Harlequin format simply didn't allow space for in-depth exploration. The motives of April's mother aren't even hinted at, and the difficult child-parent relationships are just brought up in passing.

The story needed more to work; more of their history, more interaction, something... But it just wasn't there, and it just didn't work. ( )

Healing through sex - again? not sure whether I enjoy that. The sory is set in a continuity, an this is my first read into it. Which means I don't connect much with the back story of the now secondary characters. I loved the visuals in this book, very nicely drawn. It was okay, overall. ( )
