i liked reading the book "Good Enough To Eat" for three reasons. First, I enjoyed how the illustrations resembled the text (ex. food makes you able to...then there are pictures that go along with the words grow, breathe, move, think, fight germs, stay cool, stay warm, heal, and live". Second, I enjoyed the important vocabulary that the book mentions. (ex. what happens when you digest food, types of food, the six kinds of nutrients and etc). Third, I like how detailed the illustrations are (ex. on one page there is a picture of a young girl and her digestive system and there are pictures of different types of food), "Good Enough To Eat" is a book about nutrition for children. It is an informational text that has great information on what to eat. It also includes a food pyramid and some easy recipes children can use. The big idea behind this book is that nutrition is important, especially for young children. In order for children to grow up and be healthy they need proper nutrition. ( )
