This book takes the theory of color by seasons and breaks it down further into even more distinct groups. It also shows many different ethnic groups/races. The color pictures seem very accurate so you can look at the models to match your own coloring, and then know more assuredly just which group you belong to. There are color "swatches" along the edges of the pages that help you make more exact color choices. And there are pieces on style and make-up as well, the colors on the pages being very true. All in all, I found it to be very helpful and full of more information than one might expect.
I've used this book for reference since I bought it, when I can get it back from my two daughters who also use it a lot. It is the best of this genre that we've seen. ( )
