I enjoyed this book overall, but the beginning and ending were not my favorite. The characters did not seem to come alive for quite a while. The writing felt polished but still awkward and lacking feeling in the beginning as well. It was worth it to get to the middle and end, though I would have wished for a bit more to the resolution.

It is mostly clean content. There are no sex scenes, but one is sort of half imagined. It is pretty traditional 20th century regency. ( )
