A silly series that creates more questions than it answers. It's great for formulating theories as well as predictions. The class dynamics should be very familiar to those of the Magic School Bus generation.

Book description
There are some pretty weird grown-ups living in Bailey City. But could the jolly new janitor really be Santa Claus?
The Bailey School Kids are going to find out!

"He could be Santa Claus," Liza suggested quietly. "Mr. Jolly does keep the building cold as the North Pole," Howie added.
"And what about the little man all dressed in green? Didn't he call him S.C.?" asked Melody.
"Mr. Jolly is just an old man who's trying to turn us into Freeze Pops," Eddie said. "But I'm not going to let him."
