There are three books titled "The Art of Tibet" by Pratapaditya Pal: 1) The exhibition catalogue issued by the Asia Society with an essay by Eleanor Olsen published in 1969. 2) The catalogue of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art pubished in 1983.. 3. The catalogue of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art in an expanded edition published in 1990. Number 1) is a totally different book than 2) & 3). The expanded verison 3) has numerous corrections and 47 new entries [compared with 2)].
