Lady Haughton finally gets her happy ending, as she schemes to find the Duke of Rochford a wife to make up for jilting him fifteen years ago. The best in a good series. Underneath that burning tension waiting to explode into wonderful bliss, Francesca and Sinclair have a deep-rooted friendship and understanding of each other that never went away despite their broken engagement. While it was an enjoyable romp, I had been hoping for a little bit more in the story. Sinclair does spend time with the candidates that Francesca chooses, and she does get jealous - but I do not think Candace Camp spent a lot of time on fully developing this conflict. I would have liked to see more green-eyed jealousy because that might have led to a more heated but hilarious exchange of words. I will definitely have to check out the earlier books in this series! no reviews | add a review

Of course, Francesca was certain any spark of passion between them had long since died—her own treatment of him had seen to that. The way Sinclair gazed at her or swept her suddenly into his arms…well, that was merely practice for when a younger, more suitable woman caught his eye. But soon Francesca found his lessons in love scandalously irresistible—and a temptation that could endanger them both.
