I can't even remember what I had for breakfast... ( )While this is a woman's autobiography, because of who she was and where she lived, it is also a Western history of most of the Twentieth Century. This woman knew all US presidents from Hoover to Reagan personally. She was the publisher of the Washington Post during two major political crisis- the Pentagon Papers & Watergate. These sections of the book are fascinating but her writing skills make even mundane dinner parties interesting. A real page turner and a worthy winner of the Pulitzer Prize.
