This book is about a child at home waiting on her mother. She decides as she is waiting to try and draw on the frosty glass of the window of her home. He also observes her mother through her artwork.
Personal Reaction:
This book is written in Spanish and English. The top of the writing is in Spanish and the bottom in English. This book is a very warm and personal book that I think would be very comforting for any child that is missing mom while she is away or at work. It shows warmth with the relationship of the child and her artwork as well as child and mother.
Classroom Extension:
1. Bi-lingual, multiculturalism class mixed with Spanish and English.
2. Art-shaving cream and windows would be fun to represent the art the child done in the book.
3. Science how condensation works. ( )
