Homicide detective meets vampire during an investigation. A few inconsistencies in the story were a bit troublesome but overall it was an interesting enough vampire romance. Unfortunately there was little about the plot, characters or writing to make it overwhelmingly memorable, however I would be open to reading more by this author (which is good since I have a few more of this series in my tbr pile). If you like paranormal romances this might be a good one to pick up for a quick vacation read. ( )

Appealing characters and a lot sexy. Though I'm tired of the whole, "I've waited for you forever" vampire line, Diana, the heroine, is tough and thankfully no Bella. This is a very quick and light read (no deep look into the villain - he's a simple bad guy) for those who love a 'vampire falls for a human' story. ( )
