In an effort to purge some things out of the bulging bookcases, I picked up 1st To Die off the bookshelf. It is really good, I wasn't sure if I had read it before. Pre LT, it was all guesswork lol. I love the Alex Cross series, and I will be reading the rest of this series also.

What are we reading this summer that is not part of the discussion? I am currently reading 1st to Die by Patterson and have The Poisonwood Bible coming. For non-fiction I am working on A History of the Toy Theatre.

I'm on a roll. First A Girl Named Zippy and now 1st to Die by James Patterson. Not until I had wasted my time on 250+ pages. Blech and Yuck.

27. 1st To Die by James Patterson - First in Series Abandoned. That's two in a week. I like thrillers/crime stories, and I'm pretty forgiving. This one is not worth my time -- this book feels like it was written with a kit rather than with imagination, caring and skill. Blech.
