I LOVE this book, but I can see why some people find it a bit weird. If you view it as an allegory of Christ and the church then it is beautifully done. If you view it as a romance it just doesn't make any sense at all.
A bit hokey on the dialogue but otherwise it truly is one of my favorites. ( )
