Excellent adaption of the film with neat extra details missing from the film such as more on Brenda's personal life as well as more on Kurgan. ( )

Amazon.com Product Description (ISBN 0061058408, Mass Market Paperback)

Twelve years ago, a legend was born. Starring Christopher Lambert and Sean Connery, Highlander became a cult classic that has since spawned two film sequels, an immensely popular television series, and a host of websites, original novels, and fan merchandise.

Previously only available overseas, this novel lets fans relive the adventures of Conner MacLeod, the Highlander. Born more than 400 years ago in the highlands of Scotland, he is an Immortal who can die only through decapitation. Now, in present day New York City, the Gathering is at hand, and the other Immortals have come to do battle with one another. Soon, it comes down to MacLeod and the Kurgan, the most fearsome and evil Immortal who ever lived.

In the end, there can be only one.
