This book is good for two reasons. The first reason is how the main character, Pepper, overcomes his fear of being goalie. When he is in the big game, the book reads, "The big guys, he discovered, were not so big after all!" The second reason was how the group of friends Pepper had made, all supported him, "Man, you're a Jackrabbit!" The overall theme of this book is overcoming fears. ( )
