This book should really be subtitled "Tips and Tricks for Taking Better Pictures with your Lomo LCA." Hot Shots is filled with lots of hipster-friendly images and does give some good advice for a novice. I didn't find much that was useful in here. ( )

I really like the brief and to the point format, encouraging one to get out and practice - a much better way of learning. I've resolved to try all the techniques in the book this year. Small enough to keep with you and be inspired ( )
