This wordless book takes readers on a travel adventure with Paddy the pig. Paddy always seems to be in the middle of a mix up, but make it out much better than anyone could expect, but creates a bit of drama for others around him. The book makes use of half pages that when turn reveal double page illustrations. The illustrations are wonderfully colorful and full of action. Paddy's adventures take him to the South of France all the way to the Swiss Alps.

This is a fun book for children to read to appreciate context and sequence of events. They could also focus on seasons, various types of travel (boat, sled, car, etc.) and meeting new people. There are plenty of opportunities of children to describe all kinds of details on each page. A small but entertaining book. ( )
