This story teaches children about emotions and feelings through the use of color. This connection between colors and emotions will help young children understand that their feelings are normal. It teaches children the importance of our reactions and how we act when we feel certain emotions. This colorful book will draw young children in and engage them in understanding their big emotions.

Aw I love this book. I like the rhyming cadence. Of course, I listened to Dolly Parton read this as part of her "Goodnight With Dolly" series. I love her soothing voice and how she always sings a little. https://donate.imaginationlibrary.com/goodnight-with-dolly/

I like this book so much I have memorized it and like to "read" it to my family. Dolly Parton is a very nice lady who sends me lots of books, but this one is my favorite one of all. It has helped me learn to recognize and talk about my feelings. ( )
