Personal Reaction - This book is about three friends the queen, bear and the bumblebee. The bumblebee's friends want to change themselves, but the bumblebee do not have the same wish. They came across a prince and his wish-granting crown. In spite of meeting up with the prince and listening to his friends, he was happy being himself.

Classroom Extension Ideas

1. I would make a game called look in the mirror and tell what you see

2.In circle time discuss the fact that children should be proud of who they are and what they look like.

3. Children would be asked to bring pictures of themselves and their family and to share stories.
