I was expecting an overview of Roman-Barbarian relations across the empire, but instead I found descriptions of the archaeological evidence of trade at certain sites in France. I think it would good practice to include the word "arhaeology" in the title of a book which is 100% archaeological. So this is a book for people interested in Greco-Roman archaeology but not for anyone else.
