He's quick. He's silent. He has five rows of deadly teeth. Chomp! Meet the shark-the fish who ruled the deep before dinosaurs roamed the Earth! This fish has soft cartilage so he can glide, twist, and turn before his prey can say "gulp!" He can smell a single drop of blood in 25 million drops of ocean. He can feel electricity given off by his prey. He will lose and replace more than 10,000 teeth in his lifetime. Cool photos bring kids into the shark's world. This book is for ages 5-9. In this book it shares some really interesting facts about sharks. I would recommend this to any child that is very interested about sharks. ( )

This is like an informational magazine on sharks. It would be great for having in the basket at school to browse, or read about sharks. This also would be a good text to have students practice reading on because it is something that may be interested in and has powerful images. ( )

A story all about sharks, and how they live. Children love this book and want teachers to tell them more by reading it. ( )

Beautiful and brightly colored pictures guide you through the ocean as you learn about sharks. You learn what we call baby sharks, what their skin feels like, what their eyesight is like and many other interesting facts. Kids will love looking at the pictures as they read the basic and understandable text of this book. ( )
