The third book in the series, and the only one where Meg has to solve a mystery without the help of her friend Kerry. Meg sees evidence of people in a house that is supposed to be empty all summer. No one will believe her, so she finds out who is stayng there, plus why someone keeps trying to search the house, even though the owners believe they own nothing of value.
