An old edition, but a useful introduction/anthology of pre-Socratic Greek philosophy. Small enough to keep handily in the car while your significant other is shopping and the kids are tussling in the back seat. Baffle them with such Heraclitan wisdom as "Souls smell in Hades". Does this mean that one retains one's sensory powers, or that your disembodied spirit gives off a powerful stench? Discuss/debate.
