A decent building block for Elizabethan costuming, and a good beginning guide. ( )

First book out there for us to use for Faires. Good basic info on how to make Elizabethan costumes from modern patterns, teaching fitting, corsetry, accessory building. Couldn't have done Faire in the 1970s without it. A starting place, not the most historical, but a good place to start. ( )

Published for the Renaissance Faire in Agoura, CA.

Useful for people going to or acting in a Renaissance Fair/Festival. Also for beginning costumers or theatrical costuming. But not really accurate for historic costumers. ( )
