I liked this book because it was almost a bit like a poem but with real information as well. The pictures were cute and you had to turn some of the pages differently either horizontal or vertical which will keep a child's attention. The pictures were not only cute but they had labels which is a good way to teach what the different parts of a boat are.

The easy rhyming and meter, detailed pictures, and useful labels make this an engaging read for little ones who are interested in boats, as well as a good addition to a unit on transportation, the ocean, boats, etc.

Boats come in all sizes and do different things. The illustrations were three dimensional. I think you boys would be more interested in this book than the girls. ( )

This book is everything about boats from its' parts and sections to types and terminolgy. It is nicely illustrated and written in rhyme for young readers. ( )

I would use this with young students who were interested in boats or if I was doing a unit on boats. I may have the students draw a picture of their favorite boat from the book.
