As a T-L at a school where the boys DEVOUR the guiness book of records, this novel struck a chord! Nathan is sick of getting the "other" type of award at school; the "tries hard", "best helper" type awards and he longs to be noticed for doing something extraordinary. So, after reading the equivalent of the GBOR, he decides to see if he can break any of the records listed in the book and thus leave his mark on history. His two mates Ronnie and Weasel "help" him try and pursue his goal - with very amusing and mixed results. For example, he has to try and break the record for bike flight from a ramp (12m) skateboarding on a rail(46m) or fastest furniture! Can Nathan achieve his dreams to be anything other than an also-ran and will his mates help or hinder him in his quest? no reviews | add a review
