Another big jump in levels, this time between levels 2 and 3. We did not start this level until ds has learnt all the r-controlled vowels as they are introduced very quickly in this level. More sight words are used and the soft sounds of c and g are assumed though never introduced in this series. However, once ds could read at this level, he enjoyed the stories and they did give enough repitition throughout the set of books. The stickers are still fun but after 3 sets both ds and I are finding the stories all more of the same. ( )
