I like the story line and the relationships among the characters - I feel like I know Max. However the Graphic Novel format is hard to read for someone unused to it. I would recommend it for a reluctant reader and try to get them interested in the book itself. I am reading the "real" book also and it is amazing how much of the story does come through the pictures in the graphic novel. ( )

Library Summary: "Having recovered Angel, Max and the flock head to new York City to pursue a lead regarding their true identities. But where the flock goes, erasers are sure to follow! Even more troubling, though, is the voice that's begun whispering in Max's head. Is it really her destiny to save the world?"

Having read Maximum Ride the Manga Vol.1 and loving it, I decided to give this a chance as well. Volume 2 was even better than volume 1! The artwork as amazing (as usual)! And James Patterson's writing was once again, amazing!

To me, volume 2 was better than volume 1. Volume 2 had more suspense and mystery surrounding the plot. This is exactly what I need to get into a book or graphic novel. I recommend this book to all fans of James Patterson. ( )

This volume was as good as the first. The artwork is fantastic, and plenty of hints are being dropped to keep me reading. Looking forward to the next installment. ( )

this book is the book after Maximum Ride 1. this time they got attack my these hybrids that were sent after them. they were half man and half wolf and this time they had an upgrade. they were able to fly like them but not as well becouse there had no practice with then. when they do get practice they are going to be a liot harder to get away from and not get hurt from them. at the begining Fang one of Maximum's brothers got badly injured and had to land on a beach. then a man found them and before they had time to escape the police came and helped them untill they found out what they really were. then the FBI came in as a dramatic twist to they store which really spiced things up.

i feel the same as i did before as the other book i read. ( )

This book is about Maximum Ride once again. It continued from the first book so this one was even better from the last! In this book Max and the Flock finally escaped from the School and how they make their way to New York City! On the way Max hears these voices in her and realizes it’s the chip that is speaking to her (from the last book). Soon Max finds out that she can't fly any more because of the voice.

I think this book wasn't really as great as the first one because it was good and all but there was too much romance between Max and Fang. It just made me a little bit disgusted because they are like brother and sister? They aren't exactly but still. ( )
