Hidden Turnings: A Collection of Stories Through Time and Space

I really don’t enjoy this collection as much as I always expect to. I think it’s because I’m not already acquainted with most of the authors who contributed. ( )

Lots of interesting fantasy and horror stories here. I especially liked the Geraldine Harris one and the Emma Bull one. There's a good balance here between dark and elegiac, fey and factual ( )

An interesting collection of dark fantasy stories for young adults, including a Terry Pratchett non-diskworld story. Some of the stories are quite scary, but they're all compelling. Quite a quick read. ( )
