About Hikaru no Go. I became a devotee of the game, go, after finding a book about it in my school library. So if you do buy in this title, perhaps buy an introduction to the ... ... and the storyline is pretty fun. The publisher is Viz, and there are 21 volumes available currently, if memory serves
Hikaru no Go is another long-running all ages title, also published by Viz. I find it enjoyable, but mileage will vary depending on the readers' interest in games. It's a ... ... I was entering ヒカルの碁 (1) earlier today and was surprised to find that it was considered the same as Hikaru no Go, Vol. 1. I looked at separating the two of them and saw the guidelines essentially state that foreign editions were considered the same unless there's "signific ... ... Reload, Wild Adapter, D.Gray-Man, Bleach, Fullmetal Alchemist, Genju no Seiza, Blade of the Immortal and Hikaru no Go. Also slowly getting copies of stuff I read translations of manymany years ago, when you couldn't GET much manga in English, like Tokyo Babylon and Earthian ... ... good possibilities. Each series is 14 volumes long, and both have been completely released in English at this point. Oh, Hikaru no Go is another title you might want to look into, and at present Black Cat has nothing objectionable in it.
Otogi Zoshi is a two-volume prequel to an anime ... I'm reading Hikaru No Go vol. 7 and Fruits Basket vol 1 right now. The latter I'm reading for a graphic novel discussion club. ... friendly series are going OOP in English.
Some other titles you might want to look into are Ultra Maniac (Viz), Hikaru no Go (Viz), and +ANIMA by Natsumi Mukai (Tokyopop). I'll also second recommendations for Yotsuba& (ADV) and Corrector Yui (Tokyopop, OOP). ... aka 百鬼夜行抄
2) Of the titles I'm following that are actively issuing volumes, 100 Ghosts, G-Defend, Kizu, Hikaru no Go. What I want to follow is Phantom Moon Tower, but that's moving at a rate of 5 years between volumes.
