A REAL BOOK THIS TIME! It's almost like I've stopped being worthless... nearly so, in any case.
Total: 28.5 ... to all the excellent psychological thrillers of Karin Alvtegen of Sweden: Betrayal, Shame, and the forthcoming Shadow. Like James M. Cain, you don't put down an Alvtegen book once you pick it up.
Also check out my colleague Don Bartlett's translations of Jo Nesbø: T ... ... and Children of the Mind.
The other follows Peter, Bean and some of the other characters, Shadow of the Hegemon, Shadow Puppets, Shadow of the Giant.
I've read all but Children of the Mind. I loved them all and thought they were fascinating. Speaker for the Dead was perhaps my ... I would have to say shadow puppets . Good story, characters, etc. Starting Thanksgiving weekend 2007.

1. Shadow Puppets = 372 pages. Good followup/parallel to Ender's series. I enjoy learning more about characters in a series that I get into. Love the ending, no I won't spoil it at all. Although somethings were a little ... ... Ender's Shadow by Orson Scott Card (467 pages)
